That critical margin - continuous agility and innovation in the workplace - breeds success. It drives business decisions about location and expansion, which can create stronger state and local tax bases to make critical investments for the future.

Oregon needs competitive companies, productive people and innovative ideas if we want stable, high paying jobs. The hard truth is that over the past decade Oregonians have not invested as aggressively as other states and industrialized nations in the education and training of its people.
