Oregon Energy Coordinators Association (OECA) is a non-profit professional organization working to develop and provide better energy solutions for Oregon’s low income households.
They offer three core Residential Energy Analyst Program (REAP) certification courses for energy auditors, technicians, and inspectors of energy and weatherization programs. Each of these three courses are a week long and are officially called Shell Technician 1, Energy Analyst 1, and Diagnostic Technician 1. Shell Technician 1 and/or Energy Analyst 1 are prerequisites for taking Diagnostic Technician 1. Once successfully completed (with a passing score of 75% or better and 100% completion of field test form), these certifications are in effect for a period of five (5) years.ÂÂ
